Tagaytay for the Day!

It was a really nice day for an excursion! We headed to Tagaytay to spend a beautiful Saturday there - thanks to Maf for planning it.
Buti nalang may Innova na, at least we didn't have to take two cars, we could all fit into one.
We stopped by one of the Service stations for some McDo brekky (longanissa meal with garlic rice - heaven, I'm in heaven...) and to stock up on yummy local sweets (pastillas, espasol, etc) for the long trip.
Family pic first, but someone was pretty hungry at that time.

Tagaytay for the Day 2 - Sonia's Garden

Lunch was at the lovely, lovely Sonia's Garden. Love this place. There's just something about eating delicious food (that's always fresh since they grow their own produce) in beautiful surroundings. Family photo first before the food comes out (there is a set menu)
For starters, I call this the - The I-can't-get-enough-of-this-simple-but-super-nice salad & dalandan juice!

Any guesses why the ungas frown on Frankie's face? Yup, another pic!

See, much better diba?!
E, the Gualbertos naman.
Ladies, smile please.
Migs spent a bit of time, exploring the garden...
ang nice naman ng flower. mmmm, bango!
Uy, marami pa, kuha pa ako!

A rare quiet moment with Nanang T
Papy & Mim
Proud mama.

The Main course was pasta with different sauces and ingredients - you make your own dish with the given ingredients. Saraaap!

Migs taking a deep breath 'psyching' himself up for lunch.
Migs : ang salad kasing yummy ng chocolate!
Twirling....
and twirling!

After eating, time for some more exploring...
Picking flowers with my Papay... to give to my Mamay.
Walking & playing with my Mamay & Papay

Dessert was langka turon, kamote cue & this super nice fudgy, rice chocolate cake. Yummo!
And more pictures pa...
Can I have a piece of my Miggy pie?!
Migs , kiss Mama please.
But Mamay had to have a kiss first.

Papa relaxing on a bench. Nes smiling with the flowers.

Halata bang twins?!

With my Gorgeous boys!

It was a beautiful lunch with beautiful food - filled with laughter, fun and loads of pictures, in short, Perfect!

Tagaytay for the Day 3 - The Pink Sisters

The final stop was at the Church of the Pink Sisters. An ideal place for contemplation and deep prayer.

The Pink sisters - a contemplative order of nuns who spend their days in prayers & contemplation. They are not allowed any contact with the outside world except through this gate.

Mim dropping her prayer request into the prayer box.

Frankie had to keep Migs in the garden because of the order of silence inside the church.
bonding ba?!

Road trip with Papay

Papay was going to NPC, in Laguna to check up on some of Aircode's projects and maintenance, and we decided to come along...
Here I am directing him where to go.At the National Power Plant's various centres - there were lots & lots of steam since it is a geothermal plant after all! Papay said that kuryente comes from the steam.

After stopping by for some super yummy Original buko ( there is NOTHING, like this pie), we had lunch at Pancake ( still yummy after all these years) - Memories....Frankie & I used to come to Pancake during our dating days. haaay.
Eating the yum, yum, yummy Buko pie. After lunch, Papa had to go back to the office, so we hung around at their unit sa taas ng building. Manes & DaniMae were also there, waiting for B to finish work.

One, two , three ....GO! Tap tap Baby! Good boy naman Manoy Migs
I LOVE my Dan-dan
Dan-dan, soooo pretty!
