Its a Clarke day!

On Saturday, we had an excursion to the former American Airforce base, Clarke, Pampanga. Although the road was Really good sa NLEX (NOrth Luzon Expressway), it was already lunchtime when we reached Clarke, so we decided to look for a place to eat - and we found the right place at Cottage Kitchen ( compliments of Maf, who did her internet research of places to eat sa Clarke - Galing galing T!) Cottage Kitchen, specializes in authentic Cajun and Southern food. Buti nalang puno ang parking ng SM Pampanga (we were going to their sisig festival), otherwise, we would never have decided to venture out, and we never would have found this little jewel of a place.
Ang hirap! Frankie, trying to butter his toast.
The yummiest, most tender, truly tasty ribs I have ever tasted. Sarap! AS in!

Nes & B posing with their yummo ribs and burger.
Group pics muna....

Mim & Papy - Cool sunglasses!
After, that truly Yumm-O lunch, we headed to Nayong Filipino (this is their new location, having moved from their old location beside Naia. This Nayong Filipino is way, way smaller than the original which is a bit of a disappointment - we have some great, great memories of school trips and pasyal days there. Oh well. too bad. Hopefully, ma-improve pa nila, since everything seemed to be squashed together (unlike the original, where each province was truly represented)

Ngiti! (Smile!)
Kasama si Mamay at Papay.
Ulit nga...
Kargang, baligtad?!
Miggy at si Nanang T, este Nanang Map pala.
Isa pa nga....

Naks, parang Charlie's Angels! Pero eto Daniel's Angels!
T & Lel
may mini Barosoain pa.
Sweet naman.
Huling picture naman.
All in all, despite several wrong turns, we were able to experience new places and new food, which is really what's important in a road trip.
